Won’t the rain make my windows dirtier?2020-03-07T19:57:45+00:00

No, not if they are clean. When your windows are clean, you don’t have any dust or dirt for the water to adhere to. However, if your windows are dirty, rain simply attaches itself to dirt that is already there, often making them look worse.

How often should I have my windows cleaned?2020-03-07T19:58:08+00:00

We recommend having your windows cleaned twice a year to prevent hard water accumulation and to extend the longevity of windows and screens.

Why does it look like my windows are foggy (especially on cold or rainy days)?2020-03-07T19:57:42+00:00

The main reason for foggy windows is that you can have a broken or damaged rubber seal. The rubber seal is what keeps the gas between the pains from escaping. Your windows will look foggy because moisture gets gets trapped in between the panes.

How are the windows cleaned?2020-03-07T19:58:06+00:00

All windows are cleaned by hand individually. We use standard window washing supplies, squeegees, buckets, and soft cloths.

How often should I have my screens cleaned?2020-03-07T19:57:38+00:00

We recommend that screen be cleaned once a year.

What do you use to clean the windows?2020-03-07T19:58:03+00:00

We use a combination of mild soap and water to wash your windows. It is environmentally safe and it will not leave streaks; it is also non-abrasive.

We do not use any acid based products, ammonia, or vinegar.

Will stains be removed from screens once you clean them?2020-03-07T19:57:35+00:00

We cannot guarantee that all stains or spots will be removed during the cleaning of your screen. However, we will do our best to try to remove as many of the stains as possible. Screens that are not cleaned on a regular basis will accumulate a buildup of dirt and grime that can cause stains and spots, and this sometimes becomes permanent.

How much will it cost to clean my windows?2020-03-07T19:58:00+00:00

Final price is determined before the start of the job. You can view our price list and price guide, which can be found on our Window Washing, Gutter Cleaning, or Power Washing pages. Or, use our Quick Quote Pricing Calculator!

Are tracks and frames included in the price for window washing?2020-03-07T19:57:32+00:00

No, tracks and frames have an additional charge. Basic window washing includes the cleaning of the actual glass and wiping down your window sills. Tracks and frames are priced separately.

Do I really need to have the inside of my windows cleaned?2020-03-07T19:57:57+00:00

Yes, we typically like to do both inside and outside on your first service. After your first cleaning of the year, you can transition from inside and outside window cleaning to outside only. While inside windows may stay clean for a longer period than outside windows, smoking, children, pets, and other factors may contribute to your need for indoor window cleaning.

How long will it take to clean my windows?2020-03-07T19:57:55+00:00

Typically, window cleaning can take anywhere from 1 hour to 6 hours, depending on the size of the house, number of windows, and when your last cleaning took place. Storms, screens, or French-style windows will add to the cleaning time.

Why do windows with non-removal grids (true divided lights) cost more?2020-03-07T19:57:28+00:00

It is much more time-consuming to wash each individual pane one at a time as opposed to washing the whole window in one motion.

Will my carpet/walls get dirty during the window washing?2020-03-07T19:54:57+00:00

The floors will be covered with a drop cloth or towels to prevent anything from dripping on the floor. The workers will also be careful not to mark up your walls.

Will the window washer wear shoe covers?2020-03-07T19:54:10+00:00

Out of respect for you and your home, our window washers will either remove their shoes or wear shoe covers.

Is there a guarantee on window washing or gutter cleaning?2020-03-11T00:58:27+00:00

If you are not completely satisfied, please call our office within 7 days of your service date.

Why should I call a professional window washing company instead of a maid service?2020-03-07T19:57:50+00:00

Most maid services use a product like Windex and paper towels, which will not clean your windows. Instead, it will rub the dirt around, which will create a static charge that will attract dirt and dust to your windows—but worst of all, it can scratch the glass. Our window washers use only professional window washing tools and equipment.

What causes my windows to get dirty?2020-03-07T19:57:47+00:00

There are a few main things that will cause your window to become dirty:

  • Dust
  • Dirt
  • Pollen
  • Insect droppings and nest building
Do you remove Window Air Conditioning Units?2026-03-05T22:21:02+00:00

No, we do not remove Window Air Conditioning Units due to liability and safety concerns.
